Mark T. Stopa - Primary Attorney

Mark T. Stopa has extensive trial experience and has appeared before all trial courts in Massachusetts and New Jersey, as well as a number of administrative bodies, and appeared in both state and federal courts of appeal. Mr. Stopa is also admitted to practice before the Federal District Courts of Massachusetts and New Jersey and Washington, D.C. and has appeared in a number of other courts across the country. Mr. Stopa received his Bachelor of Arts with honors from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ where he was a member of the National Political Science Honor Society and developed and participated in a Washington, D.C. honors internship. He completed his Juris Doctor at New England School of Law, Boston, MA.
While in law school, Mr. Stopa received a number of academic honors and was a member of the local and national moot court, mock trial and appellate advocacy teams. He was appointed to serve on several student and student/faculty committees. At graduation, Mr. Stopa received the Arthur Winfield MacClean Founder's Award and was noted in Who's Who Among American Law Students. Since he was a student, Mr. Stopa has been a member of the American Bar Association and Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys.
As an attorney, Mr. Stopa has also taught in a number of settings, including courses and seminars for practicing attorneys and law students. He has spoken to insurers on issues relating to coverage, claims handling and investigation, litigation management and trial practice and to real estate professionals concerning a multitude of issues relating to their practice. He has also spoken to numerous academic, civic and business groups on various legal issues.
Mr. Stopa serves on the boards of directors for a number of corporate and charitable organizations. Mr. Stopa is a member of a number of professional organizations, including the Massachusetts Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the American Trial Lawyers Association, the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys and the International Association of Special Investigation Units. Mr. Stopa lives in Foxborough, Massachusetts with his wife Molly and has three daughters and two step-daughters. He is an active member of numerous non-profit and civic organizations.

Meghan L. Howard

Meghan L. Howard joined Stopa & Associates as an Associate Attorney in July 2015. She is current Of Counsel to the firm.
A native of Jupiter, Florida, Ms. Howard received her undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Central Florida in 2011. During her time at the University of Central Florida, Ms. Howard was a member of the Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity. Ms. Howard was also a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society while she attended Palm Beach State College prior to transferring to the University of Central Florida.
Ms. Howard attended Suffolk University Law School, earning her Juris Doctor in 2014. She graduated with pro bono honors for completion of more than one hundred (100) hours of pro bono service.

Susan D. Greeley - Office Manager

Susan D. Greeley has been the Office Manager for Stopa & Associates, LLC since January 1999. A graduate from Western New England College with a BSBA, she has proven to be a valuable asset in her years at Stopa & Associates, LLC. Susan is a Notary Public and provides that service to all our clients. Susan actively participates in webinars and continuing legal education courses in the areas of estate planning, estate administration, and real estate transactions so that she may continue to provide the best service to our clients.
During her time with the firm, Susan has served as a legal assistant to the firm’s attorneys with respect to their caseloads. This includes but is not limited to formatting discovery requests and responses for attorney review, preparing general correspondence, streamlining client intake, billing, organizing client files, and managing the calendars for each attorney and staff member in the office. She is also the primary contact for all Real Estate and Estate matters.
Above all else, Susan is often your first point of contact at Stopa & Associates, LLC. Since 1999, Susan has been the friendly voice and familiar face for our clients who are often going through the most difficult time in their lives. Her compassion for our clients on a personal level compliment her dedication to providing them the best service.
Outside of the firm, Susan has been an integral part in her community. Since moving to Foxboro in 1985, she has volunteered in various positions including President, Vice President, Treasurer and various committee chairs of the Foxboro Newcomers Club; a CCD teacher, a Pre Cana Coach and many Christmas Bazaars for St. Mary’s Church; an active participant in raising funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Foxboro Against Diabetes, the American Diabetes Association, the Arthritis Foundation, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and many activities within the Foxboro Public School System.
Susan lives in Foxboro, Massachusetts with her husband Michael where they raised their three children. She loves spending time with her family, fishing, golfing, walking and the beach.
